How’s your life going? Do you ever wake up in the middle of the night thinking that you absolutely must change your life somehow, someway? Have you ever felt completely overwhelmed with life and all its circumstances that just keep coming your way?

Does your mind churn with repetitive or racing thoughts that need to be sorted out, but you feel so overwhelmed that you just don’t know where to start?

We grow up on fairytales and dreams, and it’s hard not to compare your life to what you once thought it would be. You probably didn’t think things would be so hard. But, they just are.

Life is challenging, demanding, and throws problems our way whenever it feels like it. We can’t control what problems we encounter, but we can learn to overcome the overwhelm that they present us with. So many people get bogged down by life and succumb to taking medications that they may not even need, drinking more than is good for them, are plagued with sleeping problems, suffer from anxiety and depression, and live in a world full of stress.

It is far too easy to just give up and become buried under the stresses of life. We all face the challenges of learning how to manage our stress, curb the negativity that drives our actions, and embrace all the positive aspects life has to offer.

If you don’t learn to overcome your stress burnout and your negative patterns, your mental health will overcome your physical health in the form of headaches, overeating, weight gain, fatigue, sleeping problems, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, depression, chronic anxiety, and an overall lack of joy and purpose.

You know you need to get healthy, you know it’s way past time to start doing all the “right things” but you don’t even know where to start? You’re tired, you’re stressed, and prioritizing your health seems like something that can wait until next Monday.

Meet Tamara Owen, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a mission to empower people in mastering their health and well-being, leading to a more meaningful and passionate life.

Tamara began her career as a registered nurse, then became a health educator, and now she proudly celebrates her 25th year in private practice. Throughout her career, she has gained valuable experience in various fields, including hospitals, home care, clinics, schools, and the community, continuing her lifelong study of what people truly need to achieve genuine and holistic health in mind, body, and spirit.

Tamara is proud to introduce Becoming Your Best, a re-imagined online version of her signature in-person course developed by Tamara after years of invaluable learnings and teachings. While she has taught these skills to her clients and community groups for many years, she’s excited to re-introduce an exciting and dynamic online version, designed for our 21st century modern lifestyles that allow us to learn how to improve our health and lifestyles anytime, anywhere.

Becoming Your Best is a class designed to help you identify areas of your life where hidden problems may be festering. By examining the eight areas of what it takes to be healthy in mind, body and spirit you will learn skills and tools to identify and manage them. If you don’t resolve your problem in the area they originated they will eventually show up in your physical and/or mental health as pain, illness, dis-ease, anxiety, depression, insomnia or other ailment.

If you don’t get to the crux of what’s holding you back, it can cost you your happiness.

There is so much information available out there in self‐help books, on the internet, in podcasts, on TV, and social media, but it can be completely overwhelming trying to decide which source to trust, follow and adopt. It’s frustrating trying to decipher what exactly you need to know to truly be “healthy.” And it makes me sad that so many people come to me not knowing where to begin their path to happiness, which is why I’ve made it my mission to help as many people as possible with Becoming Your Best.

Tamara will take you step by step on the path to discover your own personal vibrant health in mind, body and spirit.
